This yarn is made from the fleece of Aubrey and various other alpacas with similar grade fleece. (Aubrey is one of the older male alpacas on our farm.) It is not as fine as some of our premium yarns, but it is still soft and warm. Great for socks, mitts, sweaters, and cardigans. Because it is not one of our finer grade yarns, it is not recommended for hats or scarves. Processed locally.
